When Wind Creek Hospitality opened their new casino and hotel in Wetumpka, Alabama, traditional and digital tactics were employed to create brand awareness for the new property with particular emphasis on drive markets like Atlanta, Georgia, and Birmingham, Alabama. One of these tactics was a station takeover in Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority's (MARTA's) Five Points Station. Messages throughout the station and on the train itself included a mix of branding, a prompt to play an online digital game for rewards, and call to action to interact with the brand on Twitter. Copy was written specific to the placement of each board, including some that referenced the Atlanta Braves on the signs leading to the Turner Field train and some referencing game day on those leading to the Georgia Dome.
The campaign was produced by Red Square Gaming. My role in the project was creative direction and project management.
